The Board notes that at the 2018 Annual General Meeting, 42.38% of proxy votes cast were against Resolution 9, the re-election of Stephen Alston as a Director of the Company. The Board intends to talk to shareholders to understand their views on why they voted against this Resolution.

Further to the announcement dated 12th December 2017, Empiric Student Property plc (the “Company”) confirms that Paul Hadaway was served notice by the Company as Chief Executive Officer on 11th December 2017 and ceased employment with the Company on 28thFebruary 2018.
