The Board of Empiric Student Property plc (ticker: ESP) (the "Board"), the owner and operator of premium student accommodation across the UK, is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Attlee as the Company's Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Tim joined the Board at the Company's IPO in June 2014 as co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of the Company. Tim was appointed as Acting Chief Executive Officer in addition to his role as Chief Investment Officer on 12 December 2017.

Mark Pain, Non-Executive Chairman, commented:
