Empiric Student Property plc (LSE: ESP), an internally managed UK REIT, is a leading provider and operator of modern, direct-let, nominated or leased student accommodation located in prime city centre locations in top university towns and cities in the UK. The Company listed on the Main Market (Premium Listing) of the London Stock Exchange in June 2014.

The Empiric Student Property plc management team has a long track record in the acquisition, development and management of student accommodation assets in the UK.

Active asset management, including continued yield management and Capex planning has allowed the Company to achieve upper quartile rent levels while targeting a return to full occupancy across each asset for 2018/19 and beyond. The management is focused on delivering significant financial and operational improvements and cost savings and targeting: full dividend cover; an operating margin of circa 70%; and a total return of 10%.
